One of the more recently started divisions of Lucas TVS, India Japan Lighting Limited was incorporated in December 1996. A 50/50 joint venture of Lucas TVS, India and KOITO Manufacturing Company Limited, Japan, IJL manufactures a range of headlamps, rear combination lamps and various other signal lamps for automotive and two wheeler applications.

The Factory is situated about 40 kilometers from Chennai. The company's products represent the true quality of its state-of-the-art technology. All lamps will be supplied with 'E' certification wherever required by the customer. With its sophisticated CNC injection moulding machines, special purpose hydraulic presses and custom designed spray lacquering equipment, IJL is capable of meeting the needs of the sophisticated automotive lighting industry.
