OEM Warranty Policy


 

Lucas TVS has taken every possible precaution to ensure quality of material amd workmanship in manufacturing the products. In the event of any defect being noticed within the specified warranty time period from the date of sale/registration of the vehicle or the kilometers, whichever is earlier, Lucas TVS will either repair or replace the components or as full units in exchange for those defective components or full units under warranty, free of cost. 

This warranty does not cover misuse, modification, improper or unapproved application, abuse, accident or negligence and failure of our products working in conjunction with non Lucas TVS Products.

Also excluded from this warranty are the parts which are subject to normal wear and tear, labour cost incurred for removal and refitting of the item to the vehicle or engine and any other consequential damage/expenses.

The purchaser/ manufacturer of the vehicle shall contact the outlet where they originally purchased the vehicle and provide the purchase receipt or other proof that the vehicle is within the warranty period and faulty part removed from the vehicle shall be sent to Lucas TVS Authorised service dealer to honour the warranty claim. Lucas TVS reserves the right to refuse to consider the claim if the components have been subjected to repair or adjustment and failures caused by unauthorized service or if the component is returned incomplete.

 
Aftermarket Warranty Policy


 

Lucas TVS has taken every possible precaution to ensure quality of materials and workmanship in manufacturing its products. In the event of any defect being noticed within twelve months or 20,000 kilometers, whichever is earlier, Lucas TVS will either repair or replace components in exchange for those defective components under warranty, free of cost. 

This warranty does not cover misuse, modification, improper application, abuse, accident or negligence and failure of our products working in conjunction with non-Lucas TVS Products.

Also excluded from this warranty are parts which are subject to normal wear and tear, any labour cost incurred for removal and refitting to the vehicle or engine, and any other consequential damage/expenses.

The Customer shall contact the outlet / dealership where it was originally purchased and provide the purchase receipt or other proof that the product is within the warranty period. This will be required in order to honour the warranty claim and Lucas TVS reserves the right to refuse to consider the claim if the component has been subjected to repair or adjustment and failures caused by unauthorized service or if the component is returned incomplete.

 
Warranty Procedure


 

  • Warranty claim is acceptable on the following conditions:
    • a) Installation is approved by Lucas TVS.
    • b) Genuine manufacturing fault
  • Complaints
    • a) Warranty claims (OE & Aftermarket) shall be attended only by the authorized Service Dealers of LIS/ TVS Group Company workshops and dealers
    • b) Receive warranty failed units only vide
      • i) The WCIR form (Enclosure A) duly filled in all respects in case of Road Return Claim from OE Dealers
      • ii) Vide the RC copy showing date of sale in-case of walk in customers
      • iii) Vide copy of purchase invoice in case of service return claims
